Sarqit Homeschool Classes
We will teach a class once we have a minimum group of 3 students.
Day, Time, Length, and Topic are all flexible.
If you are an individual student, please request a class and we will let you know when one is scheduled as you can join with other students and groups.
I know scheduling can be troublesome, so please have patience as we try and find what works.
If you can reach out to your own Co-Ops or friends and get a group together we can line something up relatively quickly.
Classes are listed in suggested themes, however, any topic can be taught as a stand alone class. If you have a particular interest let us know.

Backyard Blacksmithing Homeschool

Students will learn the foundational techniques of blacksmithing enabling them to problem solve their way into crafting the tools they desire. Designed to be taken multiple times to increase skill.
Caution it's HOT: Students must be comfortable and competent being around 2000°F. Ages: 5+ (younger students may be permitted but require an adult to take the class as a student with them) Min 3 Students - Max 6 Students 2 hr / Class $185 / 5 Class Session or $40 / Class each Student |
Archery Homeschool

Build your own bow and learn to shoot in the traditional style.
In the first class students will build their own bow, receive arrows and a quiver, as well as learn range safety and shooting techniques. All subsequent classes will focus on improving your skill in archery. Ages: 5+ (younger students may be permitted but require an adult to take the class as a student with them) Min 1 Students - Max 4 Students 1 hr / Class $60 - First class $35 - Drop in Class ($50 Private Class) $100 / 4 Class Session (scheduled with others) $20 per additional class. |
RUL3 Survive Homeschool

RUL3 (aRe yoU aLive in 3) Wilderness Classes. We will hone skills in Nature, Bushcraft, and Survival. Classes can be structured in multi session themes or as a stand alone single skill class. Themed topics include: Shelter, Water, Food, People, and Comfort.

Boat Building Workshop
In this shop class students will learn the techniques of Skin on Frame boat building and become comfortable and proficient in the tools needed in the building process. We will begin with rough lumber and go through the entire process of building a skin on frame boat. These are ultra light, fast, personalized sailing canoes

In this shop class, students will learn the basic techniques of woodworking and become comfortable with and proficient in the tools needed in the building processes. Projects can vary from clocks, chests, folding chairs, CO2 cars, snowshoes, etc Ages: 12+ Min 3 Students 2 hr / Class Cost per student: $185 / 5 Class Session + Materials depending upon project |
