Todays trends push us to the idea of SURVIVAL. But survival is what happens when you have no other choice, when you are forced to accommodate with what you have. It is what happens when people are caught unaware. With the right KNOWLEDGE you don't have to survive you can LIVE. That is why Sarqit is an outdoor living school, because we are here to teach you the skills and knowledge of how to not just survive in the wilderness but LIVE in the wilderness!
We teach primitive, survival, and bushcraft skills and the history that they contain. We are currently located in Western Michigan.

Sarqit directly translated denotes "a means of wandering" - now that is a beautiful idea. We are all wanderers, who need a "means to wander". As we travel upon this globe we are given the privilege to gather. We gather around us people that we trust: friends, and more importantly, family. We gather treasured belongings that remind us of good times past and others that remind us of bright futures ahead. We gather knowledge which betters our life and enriches our days. As we wander we are in need of a means to Eat, Sleep, Move, and Do.  Together, we are united in this, ever since the beginning. Thus Sarqit Outdoor Living School (S.O.L.S.) is here to teach; to teach a means of wandering.
We are in Michigan still working on a construction project...
