Blacksmith Summer Camp
Join us for this 4 day (Wednesday - Saturday) Backyard Blacksmithing Camp where you will learn and craft the tools needed to become a blacksmith.
July 27-30
9pm - 1pm (Don't want to wear out those arms!)
12-Adult
The student will learn the process of squaring, drawing out, tapering, curling, bending, shaping, cutting and more as they construct their very own tools of the trade. Students will have the opportunity to learn to make a verity of tools. Such tools may include: blacksmith tongs, hooks for their shop, fire pokers, and more.
Disclaimer: The main purpose of this class is EDUCATION! We teach this through the means of a project. Blacksmithing is a skill that requires practice! Thus when you are beginning, your project may not turn out perfect. There is always a risk of you breaking, smashing, or melting your project, we are saddened when it happens, but there is no fee reimbursement for such learning (unless I break it that is).
