As the winter sets in and snow covers the ground, the simple act of walking can become a chore. Long ago we found that with larger feet walking on the snow becomes much easier, thus the creation of snowshoes.
In the two day intensive course students steam bend the wood frames, attach the cross beams, and weave the center. All will learn the techniques of woodworking required for crafting snowshoes and walk away with the shoes they make.
